Hi, I’m Dr. Christine Kolbé and I’m not just a counsellor. I’m a human who’s walked through the deep, messy, soul-stretching work of healing too. My approach is grounded in both science and soul, an unique blend of evidence-based techniques and intuitive practices that centre thought patterns, belief systems, purpose, and emotional truth.

I believe mental health isn’t just about managing symptoms. It’s about transforming your relationship with yourself. That means understanding how your thoughts shape your reality, exploring your core beliefs, processing pain with empathy, and building a life that aligns with who you truly are.

Why I Do This Work

I’ve sat in that same chair – unsure, overwhelmed, exhausted, and disconnected from who I was. I know what it feels like to question your worth and wonder if change is even possible. And I also know what it feels like to come out the other side – not perfect, but real, grounded, and finally at home in myself. I became a counsellor because I believe healing is possible and because no one should have to walk that path alone.

My Approach

I draw from a wide range of tools including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), narrative therapy, mindfulness, somatic work, psychoanalysis, and elements of manifestation and mindset coaching. It’s a blended approach that meets you where you are and honours your whole self: body, mind, spirit, and story. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, identity, self-worth, or feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you – I hold space for deep exploration, radical honesty, and compassionate growth. Together, we’ll untangle thought patterns, reconnect with purpose, and rewrite the internal stories that keep you small. I’ll also gently challenge you to believe in yourself – even before you feel ready.
